LVN/RN - Correctional Facilities

jOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for the provision of quality care to patients and coordinated communication with the facilities. Delegates assignments and provides supervision for the support staff in accordance with their level of training and the patient’s needs. Responsibilities and Duties: Provide direct patient care to the patients as needed. Provide medication management and administration. Comply with facility policies for receiving and implementing doctor’s orders including verbal and phone. Clearly and accurately document care as it is provided to each patient.
qUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred experience for at least 1 year. Must have proven ability to maintain professional conduct and confidentiality in the care of patients. Must possess basic computer skills. Education: Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing and licensed to practice as a nurse in the state of California. Experience: LVN or RN: 1 year (Required), License/Certification: CA Nursing License (Required), CA Driver’s License (Required), CPR Certified (Required)
